ABB's first dual armed robot on display
Prime Minister of India Mr. Narendra Modi ahd the Swedish Prime Minister visited the ABB stall at the 'Make in India week' at Bengulure where the world's dual armed robot was on display.
Dual armed robot is an innovation in robotics which
facilitates a perfect synchronization of man and machine in the work place. ABB
has developed a collaborative dual arm, small parts assembly robot solution
which includes flexible hands, part feeding systems and camera based location
facilitating perfect control.
ABB is a global leader in power and automation technologies having
140,000 employees and operates in about 100 countries.
ABB has been successful in maintaining a steady footprint in the manufacturing
and engineering industries in the Indian sub-continent. Out of 12 manufacturing
sites, one of the seven corporate research centers are based in India.
The Indian sub-continent has witnessed an unprecedented level of
economic expansion in recent years with the support of ABB. The company has helped
the customers to use the electrical power sufficiently, increase industrial
productivity and minimize environmental impact in a sustainable way.

The financial performance of the company
during the fourth quarter ending December 31, 2015 amounted to INR 6019
million.
The Profit after tax for the fourth quarter ending December 31, 2015 amounted to INR 581 million registering a growth of 16.2% compared to the immediately preceding quarter and a growth of 42.2% compared to the same quarter in the previous year.
